A real estate transaction is among the most stressful experiences, and finding the right person to represent your interests and smooth the way is key. I learned early in my career that the best representation required a combination of both head and heart. One must have a complete command of the numbers, be an adept problem solver and a master negotiator, as well as be able to understand where a client might need a more personal kind of support. In my twenty years as a Realtor, I have refined all these skills to the highest level and my proven track record as one of the most successful and respected Agents in the Ojai Valley bears this out.
In addition to the day-to-day business of real estate, my real estate acumen was also sharpened by years of service to my community, first as President of the Ojai Board of Realtors, followed by a stint Chairing the Ojai Planning Commission. These activities provided an unparalleled breadth of knowledge that continues to serve my clients in unique ways.
Prior to real estate, I worked in the Motion Picture Industry as a Camera Assistant on commercials and major studio pictures, like Grumpy Old Men. At that time, there were only a handful of women in the entire industry working in the camera department and it could be a very tough environment. My ability to be calm, deliberate and focused under intense pressure was honed at that time.
My brokerage – Sotheby’s International Realty – is based in Montecito. The definition of refinement, I partnered with this Agency to ensure a global reach for my sellers via sophisticated digital campaigns, beautiful print photography and SEO optimization. Before joining the Zabilla Group, he spent five years as principal partner and project leader at createdbyRED, a full-service web design and digital tools agency. With strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and a large, varied professional network, Alex is deeply committed to finding creative, practical outcomes that are aligned with his clients’ wishes, specific parameters, budgets, and aesthetics.
